Vision

Empowered Women Create (501c3)  supports and trains women to create beautiful jewelry to create sustainable income for themselves and their children, and to be free of exploitation & oppression of sex trafficking and poverty.  I originally started the artisan group with Iris Cambodia in 2018. I have traveled to Cambodia 1-2x per year since 2018. The women have grown in their jewelry design skills as I have trained them in polymer clay bead making and wire work. Our desire is to see the women thrive in creativity and to follow their hearts as they continue to work with us or as we support them to seek their own businesses etc.

I am working with Iris Cambodia, Daughters of Cambodia, and with Lynn Johnston of Morijana Clothing. Lynn and I are working to help women to increase their training and skills in clothing and jewelry design and to create collaboration as well as encouraging the women to pursue their own creative businesses.

Thank you for your support through donations and/or by your purchases of their beautiful work.
You are helping to empower women.
You are making a difference!
